Job summary

Brite Recruitment is recruiting a Machine Operative in Evesham on a fixed late shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm). This stable, family-run engineering business values quality, craftsmanship and employee wellbeing, with a starting rate of £15.90 per hour and on-site parking.

You will train on days before moving to the late shift, set up and operate engineering machines, read gauges, use hand tools, and carry out quality checks while maintaining safety in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or engineering experience, ideally with metal products.
• Experience using a range of hand tools.
• Good basic maths skills, including converting and working with measurements.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Own transport due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of engineering machines within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Read gauges and use a range of hand tools to produce high-quality components.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.
• Follow production processes and maintain excellent attention to detail.
• Work safely and help maintain high health and safety standards across the workshop.
