Enva is seeking a Baler Operative for the late shift in Colwick. You will operate baling equipment safely, monitor performance, maintain bale quality, and ensure proper paperwork and housekeeping in a fast-paced recycling environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machinery safely and efficiently to process recyclable materials.
• Monitor baler performance and report faults, damage, or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure bales meet specifications for weight, density and quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and housekeeping around baling area.
• Remove contamination from materials to maintain quality.
• Maintain production records and complete paperwork.
• Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials using authorised equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free from hazards.
• Follow site procedures, safety systems and environmental regulations.
• Support other operational activities as directed.
• Work with colleagues to achieve targets and site objectives.
• Report accidents, near misses and environmental incidents immediately.
