Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd in Bolton leads the DragonFire programme, delivering a deployable LDEW air defence system. We seek an Effector System Project Engineer to coordinate external partners, manage acceptance, and drive integration and test of the Laser Source sub-system.

Reporting to the Effector Chief Systems Engineer, you will oversee interface management, delivery to final assembly, and ongoing project development to evolve DragonFire with strong technical and stakeholder leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with third-party suppliers and delivering statements of work.
• Ability to lead work packages with project managers.
• Experience with electro-optical-mechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with external partners and manage technical deliverables.
• Acceptance and delivery of the Laser Source to final assembly, integration and test.
• Support the functional integration of the Laser Source within the wider sub-system.
• Drive project development to evolve DragonFire.
