Job summary

Advanced Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a brake press setter role in the West Midlands area. The position involves setting and operating a CNC laser machine, working with Bystronic equipment and reading engineering drawings to support bespoke sheet metal products.

You will interact with the design team and handle materials including mild steel, stainless and aluminium. The role offers rotating shifts on a 12-week temporary-to-permanent basis, with starting pay of £14 for the AM shift and

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Experience with Bystronic machines is advantageous.
• Must be comfortable with physical work.

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a large sheet metal company that work on various bespoke products for a number of companies in the Shropshire/West Midlands area. Due to an increase in orders they are looking for an experienced brake press setter to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating a CNC laser machine
• Working on Bystronic machines
• Reading from engineering drawings and liaising with the design team
• Working with mild steel, stainless and aluminium
• Working on bespoke products

Experience/Requirements

• Experience on Bystronic machines is advantageous

• 12 week temporary to permanent contract
