Job summary

Precision People is seeking a skilled Laser setter/operator to join a busy manufacturing business in Coventry CV7. The role involves setting and operating a 5-axis laser, reading detailed drawings and conducting first off inspections.

You will report to the Manager and may work independently on varied jobs and materials. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers steady hours, premium overtime, and an immediate start.

Laser setter/operator

Location: Coventry CV7

Day shift: Monday to Friday (day Shift)

Pay rate: up to £18.00 p/h

We are looking for a skilled Laser setter/operator to join a busy manufacturing business in CoventryCV7. This is a temp to perm opportunity with steady hours, premium overtime, and the chance to join a growing welding team.

The Role

• Setting and operating a 5-axis laser setter / operator
• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• Conduct first off inspections
• Reporting to the Manager
• Occasionally working independently on varied jobs and materials

What We're Looking For

• Skilled 5-axis Laser setter/operator
• Previous experience setting and operating a 5-axis Laser setter/operator
• Experience in using Micrometers, Verniers, calipers, and height Gauges
• Previous laser experience would be an advantage
• Confident in reading technical drawings
• Someone who can hit the ground running and work on their own initiative
