Job summary

Ashby Finance Ltd in Leamington Spa is seeking a hands-on Laser Operator to join a leading metal fabrication team. You will operate laser cutting machines to manufacture components from stainless steel and aluminium, reading CAD drawings and performing quality checks.

Working 37.5 hours on rotating shifts, you will enjoy an early finish every Friday and benefit from a permanent role with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laser cutting machines.
• Ability to read engineering/CAD drawings.
• Skilled with precision measuring equipment.
• Attention to detail and quality focus.
• Reliable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to produce components.
• Read and interpret engineering/CAD drawings.
• Manufacture parts from stainless steel and aluminium.
• Use Vernier calipers and micrometers for measurement.
• Perform quality checks and document production.
• Carry out routine TPM and basic machine maintenance.
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality.
