Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery.
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measurements.
• Strong adherence to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machinery per production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets, and specifications.
• Adjust machine settings for accurate cutting and quality.
• Perform quality checks on finished components and report defects.
• Load and unload materials using a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Move materials around the production area safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Complete production paperwork and keep records.
• Carry out routine machine checks and report faults.
