Role Description:

We are recruiting for a reliable and resourceful Large Format Printer / Finisher to support our Riverpark Press Printing team in our Manchester warehouse (M11). We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, has a ‘can do’ attitude and can gets things done efficiently and effectively.

The job is fast paced, so we are looking for someone who starts every day with energy and passion. You will have excellent timekeeping skills, won’t be afraid of rolling your sleeves up and working hard, and will have a great eye for detail.

About the role:

We have a print facility in Manchester which manages the print for all our poster and creative campaigns. This is a role to help support our busy print team, helping to keep the workflow moving smoothly and accurately from start to finish.

What You’ll be Doing:

· Help print, finish and prepare large format prints for shipping to regions or to third party clients.

· Operating and maintaining the flatbed printer & cutter to produce large format graphics.

· Operating and maintaining all finishing & mounting equipment.

· Use Adobe software to check artwork for print readiness, and RIP software to setup files for print.

· Prepare and check artwork for print readiness (resolution, bleed, layout, colour profile).

· Prioritise jobs, manage print the print workflow, and meet daily deadlines.

· Monitor print quality and troubleshoot as needed.

· Ensure accurate colour representation and sizing on all campaign print.

· Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.

· Ensure accurate stock use and help maintain inventory levels.

· Mounting vinyl and other materials on various substrates.

· To help with a busy cutting and packing schedule.

· To ensure that deliveries are packed to specific delivery instructions and are dispatched in a timely
manner.

· Receive, check in and put away goods into correct location.

· Maintain the warehouse up to current health and safety standards.

About You:

· You’ll have a great eye for detail.

· Previous signage industry experience highly preferred.

· Take pride in keeping workspaces safe, clean and tidy.

· Provide top quality print & finishing.

· A proactive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.

· Be able to work to tight deadlines.

· A keen learner.

· Possess great communication skills.

· Have a good level of computer skills.

· Be proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator.

· Previous experience as a large format Print Finisher.

· Salary of £26k - £28k (dependent on experience) plus bonus scheme to share in company success.
