Job summary

The Delta Group in Westerham is seeking a print production operator to accurately produce poster prints in line with job specifications. You will manage large format workflows, ensure correct sizing, and apply the appropriate correction curves as required.

Working Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30, you will collect work from the repro/print desk, perform QC against requirements, and maintain equipment per manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
• Experience with large format roll to roll, HP Flatbeds, Agfa, Durst is preferable but not essential.
• Understanding Windows Operating systems
• Operational experience with print
• Demonstrable attention to detail
• Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious
• Flexible and effective team member.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department.
• Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied.
• QC to job requirements.
• Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
• Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered.
• Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department.
• Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations.
• Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy.
• Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
