Job summary

The Delta Group is seeking a responsible operator to produce print work in line with job specifications at our Bishop’s Stortford site. You will collect work from the repro/print department, ensure correct sizing, apply the right correction curves, and QC to meet job requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining production schedules, notifying supervisors of major issues, problem solving minor issues, maintaining machinery per manufacturer recommendations, and keeping the work area clean.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
• Experience with HP Flatbeds, Agfa, EFI Vutek is preferable but not essential.
• Understanding Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process work from the repro/print department.
• Ensure correct sizing and apply the appropriate correction curve.
• QC to job requirements.
• Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
• Notify supervisor of major issues.
• Problem-solve minor issues to keep workflow smooth.
• Maintain machinery to manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy.
• Select the correct media profile and rip the job to be printed (training provided).
