Job summary

Kairos Recruitment represents a leading wide-format print provider in Wembley. They seek an experienced Large Format Print All-Rounder to operate HP Latex and HP Flatbed printers, handle finishing and pre-press tasks, and support client bookings.

You will set up and run printers, finish with laminating and cutting, progress jobs through RIP software, ensure quality, and help estimate and schedule jobs. Flexibility for overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in large format printing with HP Latex, HP Flatbed or Mimaki printers.
• Proficient in finishing tasks: mounting, laminating, and cutting.
• Competent in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
• Good communication and ability to estimate and book in jobs.
• Flexible with hours and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Senior Large Format Print All-Rounder

Wembley

Salary up to £38k DOE

My client is a leading provider of large format print and graphics and provide uk and provide to clients UK wide and internationally. They are on the lookout for an experienced Large Format Print All-Rounder, who can oerate printers, finishing equipment as well as artworking and pre-press and some client service - booking in jobs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up, operating and laminating a variety of large format digital printers Inc. HP Flat Bed, HP Latex, Mimakis
• Operating Finishing machinery Inc. Summa Cutter, laminating, guillotine
• Progressing jobs through RIP software and outputting to digital printers
• Quality checking all work ensuring it is output to the highest standard
• Liaising with the finishing department, QC work then pass to them to meet deadlines
• Routine maintenance of machinery
• Estimating and booking in jobs

You will have:

• A strong background as an experienced large format, ideally of operating HP latex, HP Flatbed, Mimaki printers
• Experience of print finishing including mounting, laminating, guillotine, vinyl application and Summa Cutting
• Competent in all Adobe Creative suite - photoshop, indesign and illustrator
• Excellent communication skills
• Some experience of estimating and booking in jobs
• Flexibility for working hours, working overtime at short notice if needed
