Job summary

Action Foundation is seeking a dedicated role within our Language and Learning service in Newcastle. The post supports volunteers and ESOL learners, coordinating with the Service Manager and the wider team to promote inclusion and opportunity.

The role is based at the Newcastle Office, with hybrid working options and a 35-hour week (pro rata for part-time periods) and a fixed-term contract of 1 year. The salary ranges from £25,470 to £28,121 per year, with a 6% pension contribution.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting volunteers and learners in an educational or community setting.
• Ability to contribute to workshops and inclusive activities.
• Comfort with teamwork and coordinating with a service manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to volunteers and learners within Language & Learning.
• Support the planning and delivery of employability workshops, digital skills, and ESOL classes.
• Contribute to wider team activities and promote inclusion and opportunities.
