WSP UK Landscape & Urban Design team is seeking a suitably qualified Landscape Architect & Landscape Planners to join the UK Environment business. You will work across diverse landscape projects, collaborating with colleagues across the UK and abroad to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience of managing landscape design during construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing smaller projects and supporting delivery of specific tasks within larger projects.
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects.
• Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based projects.
• Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA).
• Preliminary/sketch and detailed design including GA drawings, hard & soft construction detailing, schedules & specifications for planning.
• Tender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspections.
• Managing and delegation of project work to junior team members.
• Client facing role, involving design advice, attending workshops and stakeholder events.
• Joining internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation and thought leadership.
