Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Manchester is seeking a Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner to join their UK Landscape & Urban Design team. The role involves managing projects, preparing technical information, and conducting landscape assessments. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Landscape Architecture and excellent technical skills. Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience in successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects desirable.
• Experience of managing landscape design during the construction phase desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage smaller projects and support delivery of larger projects.
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure projects.
• Conduct landscape and visual assessments (LVIA) for projects.
• Provide design advice and attend workshops/stakeholder events.
• Generate tender and construction packages and conduct inspections.

Education
