Job summary

A leading landscape architecture firm in Manchester is looking for an Associate / Associate Director Landscape Architect & Planner to join their team. You will take on a client-facing role, manage projects from concept to detailed design, and engage in landscape and urban design across various sectors. Excellent technical skills in relevant software and a degree in Landscape Architecture are essential. The company supports hybrid working, personal development and encourages a diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Postgraduate Diploma / Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Established track record authoring Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Proven experience delivering landscape and urban design projects from site analysis to detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Lead, author and co‑coordinate Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals.
• Manage design projects through all LI/RIBA stages.
• Prepare bids for multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Client engagement through design advice and leading workshops.
