Job summary

WSP is seeking qualified Landscape Architect & Landscape Planners to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. You will work on landmark projects with a diverse, collaborative team across the UK, delivering LVIA/TVIA, townscape assessments and detailed designs for planning applications.

The role offers hybrid working, flexible arrangements, and opportunities for Chartership and professional development within a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma / Masters in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects desirable.
• Experience of managing landscape design during the construction phase desirable.
• Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage smaller projects and support delivery of tasks within larger projects.
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects.
• Prepare LVIA/TVIA, townscape and visual assessments and design packages.
• Produce general arrangement drawings, hard & soft construction detailing and specifications.
• Support bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Manage and delegate project work to junior team members, client facing and workshops.
