Job summary

WSP is seeking qualified Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. You will work across the UK with a diverse, collaborative group, delivering LVIA/TVIA and detailed landscapes for infrastructure and development projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma/Masters in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience delivering landscape and urban design projects.
• Experience managing landscape design during construction.
• Excellent technical skills with Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent spoken English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious team.
• Independently manage smaller projects and support delivery within larger ones.
• Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects.
• Conduct strategic and feasibility/concept studies.
• Deliver LVIA/TVIA for various projects.
• Create preliminary sketches and detailed designs including GA drawings and schedules.
• Prepare tender and construction packages and conduct site inspections.
• Develop client relationships across public/private sectors.
• Support bids for small to multi-disciplinary projects.
• Delegate work to junior team members.
• Engage in client-facing activities and workshops.
• Participate in internal multi-disciplinary groups to promote innovation.
