Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Landscape Architect to join its growing team in Exeter with the flexibility to base from Plymouth or Cornwall offices. The role involves landscape design and masterplanning across projects from feasibility through to detailed design and delivery, working with architects, urban designers and planners.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Landscape Architecture, with chartership (CMLI) preferred or ongoing, and strong design and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Landscape Architecture.
• Chartered (CMLI) preferred, otherwise candidate working towards chartership.
• Experience in landscape design and/or masterplanning projects.
• Strong design, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to landscape design and masterplanning projects
• Prepare landscape proposals from concept through to detailed design
• Work collaboratively with architects, urban designers and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Produce high quality reports, drawings and presentation material
• Attend client meetings, workshops and site visits
• Contribute to landscape planning, public realm and placemaking projects
• Support the delivery of sustainable and environmentally sensitive design solutions
