Job summary

Konker is seeking a Landscape Architect for a Nottingham studio to work on live projects from concept through to delivery, contributing to schemes across residential, commercial, education, masterplanning, and more.

You will prepare planting plans, hard landscape detailing, construction information and visualisations, while collaborating with architects and the wider design team. Flexible hours and hybrid working options are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Chartered with LI (or working towards) is preferred.
• A few years of UK post-qualification experience.
• Strong design eye and solid technical ability.
• Confident across the project lifecycle, from concept through to construction information.
• Clear communicator, collaborative, and comfortable working across disciplines.
• Experience with CAD, Adobe Suite, and BIM/3D modelling tools.

Responsibilities

You’ll work on live landscape projects across multiple stages, from concept through to delivery, contributing to schemes that span residential, commercial, education, masterplanning and more.

The Landscape Architect role, day to day:

• Working live landscape projects from concept through to delivery.
• Producing planting plans, hard landscape detailing, construction information and visualisations.
• Collaborating with architects and the wider design team on integrated schemes.
• Engaging with clients, consultants and contractors across the project lifecycle.
• Contributing to design reviews, specifications and sustainability considerations.

What we’re looking for in this Landscape Architect:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, chartered with LI (or working towards).
• A few years of UK post-qualification experience.
• Strong design eye and solid technical ability.
• Confident across the project lifecycle, from concept through to construction information.
• Clear communicator, collaborative, and comfortable working across disciplines.
• Experience with the usual industry software (CAD, Adobe Suite, and ideally some BIM / 3D modelling tools).
