Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited offers an undergraduate placement year in industry at Filton, Bristol. You will design and conduct tests on fuel and landing gear avionics test benches and support flight test analysis activities.

The team works across Europe in a product-focused environment, delivering development testing and feedback for future aircraft, with agile methods and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only; must be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.
• Strong data analysis, report writing and presentation skills.
• Programming languages listed: C, Python, TCL, MATLAB and Google Apps Script.
• Excited by technical challenges and solving problems.
• Commitment to deliver on time and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support lab testing, flight test analysis and data analytics.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to mature aircraft systems.
• Help resolve in-service system issues and contribute to safety beyond certification.
• Assist in instrument definition, data collection and results documentation.
