Job summary

National Trust is seeking a Land Use and Stewardship Delivery Partner to lead a joint land-use programme across parts of the 8 Hills Regional Park, funded by Bournville Village Trust. The role splits time between office, site and home, working with Restore Nature Specialist Delivery Team to deliver ambitious landscape objectives.

You’ll develop shared visions, evaluate land assets, and deliver practical, high-impact plans while building relationships with tenants, partners and councils.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in land-use planning and farm business viability.
• Strong knowledge of grants, environmental schemes and funding interactions.
• Proven ability to lead staged, gated change programmes.
• Ability to translate ambitious goals into practical, high-impact plans and delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management across partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staged land use programme across the 8 Hills area, coordinating with National Trust and Bournville Village Trust.
• Provide technical land-use expertise, assess opportunities for habitats and sustainable farming, and model financial implications.
• Commission ecological assessments and monitoring, and manage relationships with tenant farmers.
• Communicate progress and milestones to internal and external stakeholders at appropriate levels.
