Job summary

National Grid invites applications for a Land Sustainability Officer to join the Operational Readiness Team. The role centers on managing the EPA portfolio, coordinating environmental value activities and supporting education centre relationships across the UK.

Hybrid work is encouraged with Warwick as the main location; occasional UK site travel (~monthly) supports stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental planning or land management.
• Broad knowledge of biodiversity, natural capital and environmental value.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EPA portfolio and Environmental Value activities.
• Organise quarterly EPA partner meetings and track actions.
• Support Environmental Education Centre relationships and reporting.
• Maintain programme trackers, governance records and dashboards.
• Coordinate ecology surveys for EPA and EEC sites.
• Coordinate Environmental Value reporting and performance monitoring.
• Organise annual EPA conference and partner engagement.
