VirginLand is a data-powered and tech-driven business on a mission to disrupt and modernise the way land acquisition is done by better connecting developers and landowners. We act as an ‘outsourced land department’ that specialises in generating off-market, exclusive deals for our specific clients’ development requirement/s. Our team of 15 includes land managers, agents, planners and technology developers, who all work together to deliver outstanding results for our retained clients. We operate across all property sectors and have doubled in size each year since our inception three years ago.

VirginLand is looking for an ambitious Land Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career with at least two years industry experience to be empowered with greater deal-making responsibilities, working closely with landowners, developers, and agents. The ideal candidate will be personable, professional, and have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with an entrepreneurial streak. This role will provide hands-on training and development opportunities, with the goal of growing into a more senior position in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and placing land opportunities with developers.

• Support the appraisal of potential opportunities to assess their viability.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners and clients.

• Negotiate land transactions under the guidance of senior managers.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including planning, sales, and finance, to support land acquisitions.

• Contribute to the development of land acquisition strategies.

• Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities.

Desired Experience:

• Degree-level education in Real Estate or a related field.

• Min. 2+ years of experience in land acquisition or related sectors.

• Proven track record in deal progression.

• Strong interest in land and property development.
