Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Verification & Validation (V&V) and Certification Engineer to support the development and certification of the Land Ceptor Weapon System for UK and Poland programmes. The role requires analysing evidence, reviewing designs, and preparing compliance documentation to enable customer deliveries.

The position offers dynamic hybrid working (3 days on-site), with security clearance requirements and a salary up to £57,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing evidence and assessing compliance against requirements.
• Familiarity with Verification & Validation (V&V) methodologies.
• Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification evidence.

Responsibilities

• Capture and review evidence, conduct technical investigations for design certificates.
• Review technical documentation in support of functional evidence.
• Review and agree Design Verification Plans (DVP).
• Support design changes and obsolescence reconciliation.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Identify verification gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare and review compliance documentation and verification evidence.
• Drive process improvements and automation.
