  • Negotiating land rights for electricity lines and cables and the sale of land for substations, including wayleaves, servitudes, leases, option agreements.
  • Representing landowners in discussions with developers, utility companies and infrastructure providers.
  • Liaising with clients, land agents, legal representatives, planning authorities, contractors and other key stakeholders to prepare consent documents.
  • Client relationship management and communication. Understanding client needs and requirements.
  • Identifying new opportunities for new business development, contributing to marketing and PR initiatives and network/represent at events.
  • Internal relationship management and collaboration (sharing knowledge and referring business).
About you

We're keen to hear from individuals with any experience in rural property, estate management or land agency who are excited by the opportunity to work at the intersection of land, infrastructure and energy.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts.
  • Good organisational and project management capabilities.
  • A proactive and commercially aware approach.
  • MRICS or CAAV qualified or working towards qualification is desirable, but not essential.
