Job description

We're looking for a motivated, ambitious and commercially mindedGraduate to join our growing Energy & Renewables team to start around the beginning of 2027.

Based at our Oxford office, you'll gain hands‑on experience across a diverse portfolio while working alongside industry-leading experts and building the foundations of a successful career.

For over 35 years, Bidwells has been providing expert property advice to landowners, developers and investors, supporting the successful delivery of renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will gain exposure to a broad range of projects including Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Onshore Wind, Green Hydrogen, Offshore Wind Connections, Grid and Infrastructure schemes.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a property‑related degree and a passion for sustainability and the transition to Net Zero to launch their careers within one of the UK's leading Energy & Renewables property consultancy teams.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting the identification, appraisal and evaluation of sites suitable for renewable energy and infrastructure development, including feasibility assessments, constraint mapping and GIS analysis.
  • Undertaking land referencing, landownership investigations and site‑finding exercises, alongside research into planning, property, environmental and energy‑related matters.
  • Gathering, analysing and interpreting information to support project delivery, client recommendations and business decision‑making.
  • Assisting with the management and delivery of renewable energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate records are maintained and key deadlines are met.
  • Supporting engagement with landowners, clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles, including attending meetings and site visits and helping to build strong professional relationships.
  • Assisting with negotiating land rights and agreements, preparing heads of terms, reports and client recommendations and developing knowledge of relevant legal and commercial arrangements.
  • Preparing high‑quality reports, presentations and client documentation, communicating clearly with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders.
  • Attending site visits across the UK to support project assessments, data collection, client engagement and project delivery.
  • Contributing to business development, marketing initiatives, industry events and wider team activities, supporting the continued growth of the Energy & Renewables team.
What you’ll achieve

As a Graduate, you'll gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of projects while working alongside experienced professionals. You'll develop your technical expertise, build client relationships, contribute to project delivery and work towards achieving RICS Chartered status.

You'll have the opportunity to grow alongside us, and we're committed to supporting your progress every step of the way. We'll provide extensive assistance and tailored support to help you work towards your RICS APC, where our strong first‑time pass rate speaks for itself.

You'll also join our two‑year graduate development program, designed to enhance your personal effectiveness, commercial and financial acumen and client delivery skills. This program will help you build a robust foundation for a successful career in the property sector, taking you beyond your current technical expertise.

About You
  • A RICS‑accredited degree, 2:1 or above
  • Full UK Driver’s Licence & access to a vehicle
  • A passion for Energy, Renewables & Sustainability
  • Competent and professional communication skills
  • Self‑motivated, creative, innovative with a strategic mindset
  • Strong IT Skills, particularly across Microsoft Office
  • Professional, confident and friendly approach
  • Ability to prioritise and deal with projects at various stages, and with competing deadlines
  • Strong people skills with an ability to communicate via a range of mediums
  • Prior experience with GIS software is desirable, however not essential.
