This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent, involved in the full asset lifecycle from site identification, negotiation, and land acquisition, to leading a team through planning, construction, and ongoing asset management. You will develop relationships with landlords, tenants, authorities, agents, and developers.

The role involves ownership of development and planning from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multi-tasking, and meeting tight deadlines. We support career progression with training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Note: You will be expected to work at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days per week.

Internal Role Name: Senior Acquisitions Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores
• Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and due diligence
• Manage planning application processes from submission to approval
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers
• Manage real estate assets

Qualifications and Skills:

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
• Degree (minimum 2:2), preferably in a relevant field
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, or town planning
• MRICS qualification preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset with multi-tasking ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Full driving license and willingness to travel
