Job summary

Parkside Flexibles Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Laminator to operate our lamination machines and deliver high-quality printed packaging in a fast-paced environment. You will monitor production, ensure quality, and document data to support shop floor reporting.

The successful candidate will handle QA testing, address issues promptly, and assist in routine maintenance. Shift flexibility and overtime may be required, with a pay range up to £32,125 DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
• IT literate with experience operating computer controlled machines.
• Able to meet demanding deadlines and targets.
• Basic Health & Safety awareness and compliance.
• Well organised with the ability to plan effectively.
• Logical thinker with problem solving skills.
• Good communication and team player mindset.
• Willing to work flexibly to suit business needs.
• Print environment experience is advantageous but not required.
• Experience solving machine/process problems is advantageous.
• Able to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate lamination machinery to meet required quality and specifications.
• Monitor output continuously and reject non-conforming products.
• Take corrective action to address issues as they occur.
• Enter relevant information into the company system for shop floor data.
• Carry out QA testing and record results accurately.
• Keep waste and rejects within acceptable limits.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and cleaning of machine heads.
