Job summary

Hudson Shribman is recruiting a Laminator / Laminating Operator at our Hayes site. This hands-on role works in a cleanroom to produce laminated sheets used in aerospace and specialist engineering.

You will handle continuous coating, loading curing presses, and perform peel tests, guillotining, and other production tasks. Training is provided, with a stable 2pm–10pm shift on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is essential.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and handle heavy loads safely.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a continuous coating machine to apply adhesive to foils.
• Stack coated foils and prepare laminated sheets in a cleanroom.
• Load and unload curing presses using a ball roller table for heavy loads.
• Carry out peel testing to verify peel strength.
• Perform guillotining and other production tasks as required.
• Maintain clean and safe workstation and follow lean 5S practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production needs.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.

Laminator – Manufacturing Operator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm
Type: Contract / Temp, Full-Time

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Laminator / Laminating Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in Hayes. This is a hands‑on role within the laminating section, working in a cleanroom environment to support the production of high-quality laminated sheets used in aerospace and specialist engineering applications.

This role is ideally suited to candidates with solid manufacturing experience who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a physically active role.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a continuous coating machine to apply adhesive to foils.

• Stack coated foils and prepare laminated sheets in a cleanroom environment.

• Load and unload curing presses, using a ball roller table to move heavy loads.

• Carry out peel testing to ensure correct peel strength.

• Perform guillotining and other associated production tasks.

• Maintain excellent housekeeping and follow lean manufacturing techniques (e.g. 5S).

• Work in other departments when required to support production needs.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies.
