We are looking for an outgoing, smart individual with a genuine love for fashion, who is sales driven and has the ability to create a personalised shopping experience for our shop floor customers.

As the newest member of team SJB you will have the opportunity to join a close knit, friendly and supportive team based in the thriving Stanley Square development in Sale. You will have the chance to gain experience and skills that are unparalleled to the high street due to the diverse and hands on nature of the business and its people.

Responsibilities -

Your core role is to drive sales by advising, dressing and styling a range of women to satisfy particular wants and needs. You will confidently share detailed product knowledge to enhance the customer experience and close the sale.

Organise all things shop floor related; inventory management, stock room organisation, replenishment of shop floor, re-merchandising as required, window display, maintain all housekeeping elements to a high standard.

Operation of the Shopify till system - general ability to work a POS and troubleshoot.

Online orders - attentive to the online shop so that orders are picked to remove from the shop floor in a timely manner.

Must-haves -

Minimum 5 years, customer-facing, shop floor experience in women’s fashion retail is essential.

Technology proficient with knowledge of Shopify [preferable] or alternative retail selling software system.

Proven ability to interact with and sell to a wide variety of customers.

Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Ability to demonstrate experience of outstanding customer service, engaging customers and managing the shop floor.

Strong multitasking skill - You must be able to look after multiple customers at one time and command a shop floor at busy peaks.

Customer engagement and ability to build lasting relationships with our customers by addressing their queries and tailoring your approach to each customer.

Ability to style and create capsule outfits that fit, flatter and suit each customer using your detailed knowledge of the available stock.

Alignment with our working values of reliable, trustworthy and self motivated work.

Have flexibility to cover for adhoc Sundays and bank holidays as needed.

Computer competent for general shop based admin.

Working hours -

Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 5pm

Saturday working hours are mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
