Job summary

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans and work with educators, healthcare professionals and community organisations. Registration with Social Work England is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with a BA/MA in Social Work.
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Experience with children and families, particularly Looked After Children, is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs in line with statutory requirements.
• Develop and implement care plans prioritizing the child's best interests.
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals and community organisations.
• Provide ongoing support to foster carers and biological families.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of casework and progress.
