Job summary

Monnoyeur, via Aprolis UK, is recruiting a General Labourer to work from our Equipment Preparation Centre, handling a mix of warehouse duties, workshop tasks and yard housekeeping in a safe, professional manner.

The role requires experience in general labouring, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently while prioritising safety and efficiency on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labouring or warehouse roles.
• Willingness to undertake multiple duties including housekeeping.
• Ability to work safely and independently on-site.

Responsibilities

• To work safely and in accordance with the company Health and Safety policy standards.
• To have overall responsibility for the yard and warehouse spaces on a day to day basis.
• To ensure the yard, warehouse and mezzanine are kept clean and tidy.
• To carry out visual inspections of all trucks being received at the Equipment Prep Centre and complete Goods Receiving Notification (GRN) documentation.
• To identify any damage to either trucks or goods being received and notifying the workshop manager accordingly.
• To carry out the safe unloading/loading of trucks or goods from both internal and external transport vehicles.
• Ensure all trucks and goods are stored on site safely and in a way to optimise space utilisation.

Similar experience within a general labouring role. Willingness to undertake a number of roles – general warehouse work, housekeeping. Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive. Helpful and willing to take ownership of certain duties. Work independently on sites in a safe manner taking into account both your own and other people’s safety.
