Job summary

Rogers McHugh Recruitment is seeking a reliable Labourer to join a busy site team in Paignton. You will support skilled tradesmen with day-to-day tasks, keep the site clean and safe, and assist with deliveries.

The role requires a valid CSCS card and asbestos awareness (guidance available). You should be hardworking, punctual and a good team player who is eager to learn.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is required on-site.
• Asbestos Awareness training is mandatory (or can be guided).
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Experience in construction/site work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradesmen with day-to-day tasks.
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised.
• Moving and handling materials around the site.
• Loading and unloading materials as required.
• Assisting with deliveries when needed.
• Helping to keep work areas safe and clear.
• Supporting the wider site team as required.
• Following instructions from tradesmen and site management.
• Carrying out general labouring duties.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and willing Labourer to join a busy site team, supporting skilled tradesmen with the day-to-day running of the site.

You will be working for one of our highly valued clients, who take great pride in the quality of their work and genuinely value the people who work for them. They are looking for someone with the right attitude, good work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.

This is a hands-on role where no two days may be exactly the same. You will be helping tradesmen with general tasks, keeping the site clean and organised, moving materials and, when required, assisting with deliveries. The successful candidate will be someone who is reliable, punctual, helpful and takes pride in doing a job properly.

We are looking for someone who doesn't need to be asked to help and is happy to get involved wherever needed. A good attitude and willingness to work are extremely important for this position.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card - MUST HAVE
• Asbestos Awareness - MUST HAVE (can be guided)
• References must be available
• Previous construction/site experience is preferred
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
• Reliable and punctual
• Hardworking with a positive attitude
• Willing to learn and help with different tasks
• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Good attention to health and safety
