Job summary

Sure Building and Construction Ltd seeks an experienced Labourer / Banksman to join a busy site on a self-employed CIS basis. This full-time contract runs 6 to 9 months across Greater London, Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

You will provide general labouring support, assist trades, direct vehicles as Banksman, ensure site safety, and maintain a clean, safe working environment. DBS check required; own PPE and CIS registration are essential.

We are looking for an experienced Labourer / Banksman to join a busy construction site on a self-employed basis. This is a full-time contract role for 6 to 9 months. You will be engaged as a self-employed contractor, paid under CIS and responsible for your own tax affairs.

What you will be doing

You’ll provide general labouring support across the site, working closely with trades and site management to keep things running safely and efficiently. Duties include:

• General labouring duties around the building site
• Assisting trades and site management
• Moving and handling materials
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and safe
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Directing vehicles and assisting with site movements as Banksman
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Other general duties as required by the Site Manager

What you will need
