Job summary

Nixon Hire is seeking a Labourer to support the efficient operation by performing manual tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving rental equipment, and keeping depot and workshop areas clean and organized.

You will help with basic equipment maintenance and inspections, ensure assets are stored properly, and assist with site deliveries and collections when required. The role requires good time management, reliability, and a flexible approach.

• Ensure assets are stored in allocated areas per layout plans.

As a Laboureryou are responsible forsupportingthe efficient operation of the business by performing a variety of manual tasks. This includes loading, unloading, and moving rental equipment, maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the Depot and workshop areas, and assisting in basic equipment maintenance and inspections. Your role is crucial in ensuring that equipment is ready for hire in a timely manner, contributing to excellent customer service and the overall success of Nixon Hire.

About You!

• You will be self motivated and have good time management
• Good physical health is required as this can be a physically demanding role at times.
• Flexible in your approach to work, able to work reasonable overtime if required, and adhere to all health & safety practice.

About the Role!

• Ensuring workshop area / canteen / washrooms / yard areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Ensuring company assets are stored in the allocated areas as shown on each Depot Layout Plan.
• Where applicable, paintingaccommodation units and vehicles.
• Emptying rubbish bins daily, loading rubbish and waste into skips, in line with all Health & Safety procedures.
• Cleaning incoming toilets / accommodation units etc, recording details of excessively dirty items to ensure customers can be charged accordingly.
• Where applicable, cleaning accommodation units, toilets, and loading / cleaning furniture for accommodation units prior to despatch.
• Where applicable delivering / collecting items to or from sites or suppliers.
• Liaising with Stores Department to ensure adequate levels of cleaning equipment are maintained.
