Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Labourer for a busy construction site in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The role involves general site labouring, keeping areas clean and safe, moving materials, and assisting tradespeople.

You will work on a temporary, full-time basis with an immediate start and weekly pay via umbrella arrangement, on an ongoing project with site management support.

Qualifications

• Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness certificates are required.
• Previous construction site experience is preferred.
• Must have full PPE: hard hat, hi-vis vest, safety boots.

Responsibilities

• General site labouring and assisting tradespeople.
• Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe.
• Moving and handling construction materials.
• Loading skips and disposing of waste correctly.
• Assisting with deliveries and unloading materials.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out additional labouring duties as directed by the Site Manager.

Duties

• General site labouring and assisting tradespeople.

Essential Requirements
