Job summary

Progress Housing Group is seeking a Labourer in Leyland to support reactive repairs, void reinstatement, planned maintenance and installation work across our client properties.

You will perform labouring tasks to a high standard, assist colleagues to complete works safely, and ensure appointments are kept while maintaining site safety and customer care. The role requires a Full UK driving licence and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• As a Labourer, you will assist with reactive repairs, void reinstatement, planned maintenance and installation work across our internal and external client properties.
• You will carry out labouring work to a satisfactory standard, supporting colleagues to complete works safely, efficiently and with care for our customers and their homes.
• You will help ensure appointments are kept, debris is removed from site, materials are looked after properly and all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements, relevant legislation, building regulations, codes of practice and risk assessments.
• You will communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and stakeholders, treating people and their property with respect and explaining the nature and purpose of the work being carried out.

Essential

What we’re looking for

• Experience working for a social housing landlord.


• Experience of dealing with people in a customer service environment.
