Job summary

Randstad CPE in Herne Bay, Kent, is urgently seeking a reliable General Labourer for an immediate start today on a live construction site.

You will assist site trades, move materials, offload deliveries, sweep up, and keep walkways clear while ensuring safety. Requirements include a valid CSCS card, full PPE, and the right to work in the UK. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella or PAYE. Competitive local rate and immediate start for the right candidate.

About the Role

We are urgently looking for a reliable General Labourer for an immediate start today on a site in Herne Bay.

This is a short-term cover role ideal for someone local who is available right now and wants to get stuck into immediate work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting site trades with general daily duties.

• Moving materials across site and offloading deliveries.

• Sweeping, clearing construction waste, and keeping skips tidy.

• Ensuring walkways and work areas remain safe and clear of hazards.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential).

• Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis jacket/vest, hard hat, and gloves).

• Previous general labouring experience on active construction sites.

• Hard-working, punctual, and ready to get straight to work today.

• Right to work in the UK.
