Job Vacancy: General Site Labourer

Location: Hemel Hempstead (HP1) Pay Rate: £17.43 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week (Typically Monday - Friday) Contract Type: Ongoing / Long-term

As a Site Labourer, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Site Maintenance: Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe by clearing rubbish, sweeping up, and managing skips.

• Material Handling: Unloading deliveries and distributing building materials to various trades across the site.

• Assisting Trades: Providing general assistance to bricklayers, carpenters, and other skilled trades on site as required.

• Health & Safety: Strictly following all site health and safety regulations and reporting any hazards to the Site Manager.

• General Duties: Erecting temporary fencing, securing the site at the end of the day, and taking on other manual tasks as directed by site management.

What You Need to Apply (Requirements)

• CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is essential (Green Labourer card or higher).

• PPE: Your own standard Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, high-vis vest, and steel-toe safety boots).

• Experience: Previous experience working on a construction site is highly preferred.

• Attributes: Punctual, physically fit for manual work, and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.

• Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
