Job summary

Accountable-Recruitment seeks a Finance Analyst in Liverpool to take ownership of labour-focused management accounting and cost analysis. You will analyse staffing costs, prepare monthly accounts, budgets and KPIs, and provide variance commentary to support operational decisions.

The role requires strong Excel and Power Query skills, experience with INDEX & MATCH and SUMIFS, and a solid management accounting background. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analysing staffing/labour costs.
• Experience using INDEX & MATCH for analysis.
• Strong Power Query and advanced Excel skills.
• Solid management accounting background.
• ACCA/CIMA qualification in progress or nearing completion.

Responsibilities

• Labour cost analysis across divisions.
• Identify rate variances, seasonal fluctuations and trends.
• Produce monthly management accounts, journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Support stakeholders with variance commentary.
• Enhance reporting using advanced Excel and Power Query.
• Contribute to financial modelling and costings.
