Job summary

2K Polymer Systems (UK), part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Laboratory QC Technician to uphold product quality and conformity. You will perform testing, maintain records, and ensure equipment and processes meet the company’s standards in a busy laboratory environment.

The role involves mornings and occasional afters shifts, a 37-hour week, and responsibilities including certification creation for the sales department and assisting with investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• QC Laboratory Area / Processes and Procedures to ensure product quality/conformity are maintained and recorded.
• Shift pattern: Mornings / Afters (When required) – 37 hours per week.
• Primary perform laboratory testing promptly and with due diligence in accordance with the Laboratory Training Guides and the priorities of the work schedule.
• Pass details of any non-conforming product to the Quality Supervisor to aid investigations and further actions.
• Assist the Quality Supervisor with investigations as and when circumstances dictate.
• Secondary maintain laboratory records, equipment and the laboratory facility, including general tidying and cleaning.
