Job summary

Imerys is recruiting a Laboratory Technician for the Ball Clay Quality Laboratory team. You will prepare and test clay and mineral samples, perform routine QC testing, and accurately record and report results via LIMS and SAP.

You’ll work with the Laboratory Supervisor and another technician to maintain quality, safety and environmental standards. We value hands-on science, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory or quality control experience.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial or mineral processing environments.
• Science-related qualifications
• Experience using laboratory databases or quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and testing clay and mineral samples in accordance with approved laboratory procedures.
• Carrying out routine quality control testing and analysis.
• Accurately recording, analysing and reporting test results.
• Maintaining laboratory records and databases.
• Supporting the laboratory team in meeting testing requirements and deadlines.
