Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Laboratory Technician / Production Operative in Northampton. You will work under the Production Manager, supporting laboratory testing and data reporting in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform testing to BS/BSEN standards, schedule samples, and help with data presentation while developing new skills. This role operates Monday to Friday during the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing of materials to BS/BSEN standards.
• Schedule and organise test samples for required testing.
• Prepare and present test data accurately.
• Train teammates on test methods where required.
• Cross-check calculations completed by others.
• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and safe in line with manuals.
• Support ad-hoc duties as required.
