Job summary

Pertemps Lincoln is seeking a Lab Technician / Mixing Operative in Lincoln. You will prepare, measure and mix materials for the production line, following precise instructions and safety procedures.

The role is 8:00–16:00, Mon–Fri and includes full training with initial pay during training. Ideal candidates will have attention to detail, comfort with lab or manufacturing environments, and the ability to work well in a team while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a laboratory, mixing, blending, chemical or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Comfortable handling and working with a variety of manufacturing materials.
• Confident completing basic computer-based tasks.
• Physically fit and comfortable moving materials around the site.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, measuring and mixing raw materials and concentrates in line with production specifications
• Following detailed mixing instructions and manufacturing procedures
• Collecting materials from storage areas and delivering them to the production line
• Ensuring materials are handled, labelled and stored correctly
• Following strict PPE and health & safety requirements
• Completing relevant production records and computer-based tasks
• Keeping mixing and preparation areas clean, safe and organised
• Ensuring materials are prepared accurately and available for production when required
• Working closely with colleagues across the production team

Job description

Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for a Lab Technician / Mixing Operative to join our customer, an established manufacturing business based in Lincoln.

This is a hands-on position working within a busy production environment, where you will be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing materials used throughout the manufacturing process.

The role requires excellent attention to detail and someone who is comfortable following precise work instructions, measurements and strict PPE and safety procedures. Full training will be provided.

What will I be paid?

• £13.25 per hour during training
• Increasing to £15.00 per hour following successful completion of training

What hours will I be working?

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 16:00
• Day shifts

What will I be doing?
