Fortrea Clinical Research Unit in Leeds is offering a Bank (0-hours) laboratory support role at our Drapers Yard unit, seven minutes from the train station. Shifts may include weekends, twilight, and night shifts, with up to 37 hours per week during busy periods.
No science degree is required; we provide full training to develop the technical skills needed. You will support sample processing, data documentation and basic lab tasks in a flexible, fast-paced environment.

This is a Bank (0-hours) position, where work is offered based on clinic demand. Office-based job at our Drapers Yard Clinical Research Unit, just a 7-minute walk from the train station. Shifts are scheduled Monday to Sunday and may include weekends, twilight shifts and night shifts, based on availability. During busier periods, you could work up to 37 hours per week; however, the number of hours offered can vary from week to week depending on operational needs.
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a clinical research environment, supporting important studies while working flexibly around other commitments.
Ideally, you bring some experience in a laboratory setting and are familiar with basic laboratory techniques, procedures and equipment, but you don’t need a scientific background or a degree. If you have great attention to detail and are practical, curious and keen to learn, we’ll provide full training to develop the technical skills you need.
You will witness firsthand the dosing and safety research as they are being conducted in real time. When the drug you worked with gets approved, you know you’ll touch many patient´s lives around the world.
