Job summary

Fortrea's Early Clinical Research Unit in Leeds seeks a NMC-registered Night Shift Nurse to deliver hands-on care while supporting early-stage clinical studies.

You will work three 12-hour night shifts weekly (7:30pm–7:30am) in a modern, 100+ bed clinic near the train station, with significant enhanced earnings through twilight/night allowances.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered nurse with current registration.
• Experience in a fast-paced ward environment (A&E, acute medicine, surgery, oncology or similar).
• Ability to work independently with core nursing procedures.
• Interest in clinical research and how medicines are developed.
• Comfort using electronic health records and clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out night shift nursing procedures including cannulation, blood collection, ECGs and observations.
• Monitor participant well-being and document adverse events.
• Record accurate data in electronic systems to support study quality.
• Support overnight delivery of clinical research studies and ensure participant safety.
