Jaguar Land Rover's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) is seeking a technician to perform metallurgical, chemical and radiographic analysis on EDU and battery components, ensuring drawings and quality standards are met.

In the Manufacturing team at JLR's Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you'll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. Use your expertise, cutting-edge technology, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient, sustainable and high-quality production. Fuel the exceptional. This Role is required to provide Technical Support to the EPMC, related to the production of EDU and Battery. The main activities will be carrying out metallurgical, chemical and radiographic analysis on EDU, battery, frame extrusions and transmission materials, to confirm drawing specifications are met; as well as performing cleanliness testing, and analysing contaminants from this and other test points in the EPMC. As the EPMC matures, the role may also carry out scheduled spot-audit testing on supplied parts. On completion of testing, the Role will complete test reports as required and feedback results to customers, escalating issues as necessary, and interrogating SPC data to identify trends.
