The Role:

We currently have a vacancy for an Asphalt Laboratory Technician to join the team at KEE Surfacing on a full-time away-work basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine sampling and testing of asphalt, PMB, emulsion, aggregate, bitumen, and other raw materials to recognized standards in our NATA laboratory.
• Document test results and calibration data in compliance with NATA standards.
• Handle and manage chemicals in line with relevant standards.
• Conduct procedures safely and ensure all equipment is maintained in good condition for testing.
• Maintain the laboratory in accordance with NATA requirements.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this position, you will require the following skills/experience:

• Understanding of asphalt/cement and quarry industries.
• Current and valid Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to travel (away work is required).
• Knowledge of Australian standards for laboratories.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Professional communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (advantageous).
