Job summary

ALS Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. You will test a diverse range of finished food products and ingredients using various analytical techniques, following strict procedures with meticulous attention to detail.

The role operates on a 4 on/4 off schedule (9am–9pm), is full-time and permanent, with an annual salary of £26,867 plus £2,000 location allowance.

Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Keen eye for detail
• Possess excellent time management skills.
• Methodical in your approach

The Role

ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques. This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures. Do you have the skills required, if so, please read on!

Days Per Week: 4 on 4 off (9am to 9pm)

Contract: Full Time and Permanent

Annual Salary: £26,867 + £2000 Location Allowance

The Day to Day

• To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
