SSE Laboratory Technician role located at Peterhead Power Station. You will perform chemical analysis and condition monitoring to safeguard critical power assets, delivering an oil analysis service across the business and supporting regulatory compliance.
A background in chemistry with power industry experience is required. Responsibilities include lab operations, budgeting, equipment maintenance, and applying safe systems of work.
Base Location: Peterhead Power Station
Salary: £36,139 - £54,311 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

As Laboratory Technician, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding the performance and longevity of critical power generation assets through expert chemical analysis and condition monitoring, whilst delivering a company-wide transformer oil analysis service.
